Well there was a tutorial by someone else on drawing faces, so out of boredum and not wanting to do my homework, i sat down and followed it and i'm about to post what i drew i honestly dont think it's anything spectacular. But hey i guess everyone has to start somewhere.

That is the heart of the truth to many things! Everyone starts somewhere and the journey of a 1,000 miles begins with one footstep.

As one artist on here who is absolutely FABOO pointed out, the ability to recreate a face or likeness of an item is more of a 'technical' skill. Like drawing a building. It does take practice, but most anyone can learn.

I'll have to try and remember to take a look. I wish I had some of my old drawings on here, so you could really see where I started from!

Oh you dont need to.

My brother is my tattoo artist. I have tattoos from when he first started to currently. I know how long that road is, it's taken 10 yrs for him to get to where he's at now. He's got some of the most spectacular work.

shhh dont tell him but i idolize his work. It's why i have so much work done on me by him.

anyhow just check the scraps pile. You'll find it in there.

thanks!

Your secret is safe with me.. I won't let him know.

Naw, I just figured it'd be fun to load those pictures I did from back in the day.

I did check out your pic but I wanted to give you a true critique and then I ended up in Bridesmaidville and been getting out since! HA!

LOL

Its actually been a couple of years since I've done a pencil portrait. Its actually what I've worked on the longest and I think I'm best at.

Thank you for the compliment! And I think its just practice... pratice... practice.
