This is just incredible. So much going on. Bowing her head in reverence to a god? Atop the altar of music? Watched over by the god's familiar/sidekick - of course a black cat!
But what I really love are the many beautiful curves that seem to flow into one another: from the painting to her body to the reflections to the piano to the cat. Brilliant!
The only niggle I have is the hot spot bottom left of the painting.
