The colouring and shading helps give different textures, like on those glossy boots. And in this case, getting it to look like you could see the skin through the body stocking was quite an involved technique...but worth it, i think.

Fantastic! I love the hair, how it looks blended and not overdone at all. And those shiny, thick boots, absolutely entrancing to look at! Really interesting design, I wonder why her cloak is stitched, but it too looks really good and I reckon the reason comes from a story.

The boots were taken from RenderPretender's depiction of the character. Massive and extremely glossy. I tried to get that same look, as best as I could with pen and pencil.
I don't know what the story is behind the stitched cloak, but I thought it was a pretty cool design
