Description It was a sunny morning. And after taking a bunch of photos of the bees and nasturstiums, I relized I had it set to the wrong ISO speed! Oops!

And this one goes along with last drop. See the little drops of water?

I'm not to happy with the bee. It looks like a flying turd. Wings were moving too fast I guess.

This picture really makes me long for summer, when the flowers are in bloom and the bees are buzzing. The vibrant colors on the sides was a nice choice. It's definantly interesting that you centered it on the leaf instead of the normal close up shot of a flower. It's too bad you couldn't get the bees wings detailed, that would of made this really intriguing to look at. I like the white border you put on this, they brighten up the whole picture a lot better than what it would have been if you would of just left them out. What kind of camera did you use for this picture? Do you know what the ISO was?

Thanks for the awesome comment. This was taken with my clunky, manual, film-eating Minolta. SLR - 101 or something like that (It's in my locker at school right now, so I can't be sure. But here's about what it looks like [link] ) The ISO was 200.

I think what really makes this shot stand out is the way you captured so many difficult elements in the same shot successfully. I love the way the water droplets glisten on the left and how the green and red colors create such a beautiful and dynamic color scheme. There is a nice flow to the shadowed negatives space that really gives it the quality of almost functioning as another positive shape instead of a background. I also have to disagree with you about the bee...it is disappointing that you don't see the wings but you still got a very nice capture of a very difficult insect to photograph. It is better than any bug I have ever taken a picture of, that is for sure.

I love it. Picture perfect setting, and you got it too . The colours are really nice and go together really well and I like the droplets. Don't even start with the bee, they're really hard to photograph nicely. Great job.

These colors are amazing. Orange and light green look amazing together It sort of reminds me of carrots and lettus...sort of.

Very nice focus and detail, especially on the water drops. The bee really doesn't look bad at all; those little bastards are hard to shoot. The flying turd thing made me laugh though, thanks
