Description This is a new growth forest. Unlike the old growth forests of B.C., they have many more decidous trees and low laying plants. Due to the dry summer, most of the ferns had died, and could have easily caughten fire burnt to the ground.

That's a douglas fir on your right, if anybody was wondering. This was taken outside Hope. As I was lining this shot up, the sun suddenly came out, and click. There you have it.

Wow, I love the way the colors just shine out through the picture! And to think that the sun came out just as you were preparing to take the shot! Perfect!

This is an amazing depth of focus and detail. The colors are very rich and vibrant and the color scheme is very complimentary. The contrast is quite nice and there is a nice play of shadow and highlight. The perspective of the shot and the amazing texture and detail you captured is amazing. Very nicely done.

Cool shot. The tree itself looks dead, and the leaves look real. Good job on it, and good job for being brave enough to "risk" some film on it. I know I don't take my good 'ol manual film camera out unless I got a bug on my window or goin to a place I'm sure to get good pictures in and my dad's there to help me w/ all the apperture and shutter speed settings.

ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

six minutes, good enough for a cardiac case

Feefus, feefus, feefus. Absolutely stunning border, really compliments the shot.

check the way the colours band down the shot from those lovely woody hills and sky

light blue white
purply green
bright yellow green
sunlit light red brown
sunlit dark brown

Great. I would have shown some more douglas fir at right and a touch more sky at the top, i think. but that might have screwed those lovely bands of colour.

:claps: for you

Pax

I really like the descriptions and I'm honoured to be blamed for inspiring them
