Description After walking down a steep flight of 217 stairs, our group came to a river. Nomi found the sphereish rock, and I wanted to take a picture of it, but why take a picture of just a rock, when you can have splashing water as well?

A big thanks to Nomi (~god-of-insects ) for throwing the rock in the water. And seeing the rock, as well. And moving it.

It looks like a really beautiful place. Such pretty clear water and colorful rocks and everything. This is such a nice shot.

Wow, this is a great pic. I'm not much of a photography person (I mean myself - I have no photo talent) I think you captured the water great!

The contrast is wonderful, and the rocks blend well together. Except the bif rock that you seem to like? Cause that doesn't belong there, you should have told Nomi to throw another one without the rock because you want to concentrate on one thing the spalshing, but you can't because there is a big rock that ruines it. I like the capture of the spalsh so that you can actually see under the water, which is a nice change. Great but gt the rock out of there!

I like the contrast of the texture of the rocks to the surface of the water and the shape of the rocks to the shape of the splash. It has a kind of a geometry and chaos feel to it that really appeals to me. The colors are also very nicely captured and I like how the textures kind of guide the eye across the piece. Very nicely done.

Lovely colours in those stones, nice shot and nice spot.

Question: HOW MANY stones did Nome throw?

I picture feefus lining up and the rock and saying...

"Right, now throw the rock"

*thump*

"Not at me, in the WATER"

*splash*

"You idiot, you got water in my camera"

*thump*

"NOT in the grass Nome!"

Sounds like a lot of hard work for BOTH of you, well done

Oops, I never answered your question ^_^; She threw 2. It was more like...
"Nomi, find a rock, and chuck it in the water."
*ploop*
"No Nomi, when I say so. Throw it near the round rock. Now."
*ploop*
"Thank you Nomi!"

This one is great. Water shots are kinda hard, especially with film. I made an attempt at a waterbaloon breaking, but my camera sucks
