I see Rey as being more like an elementary school teacher. If they ever do an Episode 10, she'd probably be in it teaching children the ways of the Force. In the old Skywalker desert farm home, no less.

You know, canonically the only beings that don't wear shoes are aliens. (Non-humanoid at that.) Whether it is to some cultural thing, incomparable feet, or no feet at all.

That is true. the Togruta species tend to not wear them. But I would suspect those who stick to their native culture. (Mostly those who stay on their homeworld, Shilli [Hope I said that right.] would continue to do that and the ones who leave the homeworld/never raised on it and their culture wouldn't adopt this. I know Ahsoka and Shaak Ti (At least until the force unleashed, uncanonized.) didn't because they were Jedi and were trained and raised in the Jedi code and religion as youth. They wore boots like most (Though not all) of the other Jedi and galactic population at large and never adopted their native culture.
