Description Nidhug StG70 Kinetisches automatisches Gewehr

The Nidhug StG70 is one of the most impressive automatic kinetic rifles available to the Großdeutsches Reich Herr and its Allies. It is a magnificent and integral weapon with varied customization options, designed by H & K to replace conventional ammunition rifles and give greater penetration power in a small space. The ammunition Cinetica has the advantages of not using a means of ignition, if not its own density applying energy to the projectile

Its destructive power is based on concentrating on a minimum surface a large amount of kinetic energy, which becomes penetration work. Its performance is such that the most modern conformed in Kervan A (KrA 3050) perforated armored objectives and under cover at 4,500 meters.

The more resistance the shield exerts, the more energy it discharges on it, since it accumulates along the axis of the penetrator. After the rupture of the shield, remains of the penetrator and material converted into shrapnel is projected into the target either Human, material or vehicles.

The first prototypes were tested in the facilities of Oberndorf am Neckar where the performance surpassed the expectations, the final design was approved by the German Ministry on August 14, 2019 and only delivered to Special Forces Units.

The name Nidhug is taken from the Nordic mythology where it is a dragon that lives in the Niflheim and can be translated as (the one that strikes full of hatred) and resides in one of the three branches of the Yggdrasil where Ragnarök waits and everything is destroyed to later torment the human souls that have remained in the Niflheim, feeding on the bodies of the deceased and the blood that deposits in their skulls, a poetic name for a powerful Mistress.
