// This is my first attempt to color with my new Wacom tablet. It's not that perfect, but I hope to improve my painting techniques
This is Toothless, the dragon from the book and animated movie How to Train Your Dragon (an awesome movie indeed).
Toothless line art was done by Norke , and painting done by me.

I think you might want to watch which colors you pick. the bg is very bright around the creature, but even his bright parts are pretty dark. the contrast between him and the bg makes it hard to see the contrast in him.

Uhm, okay..got that. Next time I'll make sure to pay more attention in this.
Maybe even redoing this BG to see if it becomes better.

it's no problem. what color the bg is affects the contrast the thing in front of it seems to have -> [example-ish]

Yea, I didn't like the background also, doesn't fit it. However, I though it would be weird to left it with a blank BG..and I was also tired.
