Description
First real commission, woo ^^ Ruanly asked me to design a species for his upcoming high-fantasy horse & human roleplay, Alcryst. He wanted a solitary apex predator that people would be more likely to run away from rather than want to fight, so I looked at things like lampreys, gulper eels, and african bullfrogs to come up with the margwhar--a giant, froglike ambush predator that waits buried in the mud for prey to approach.
