Must be somewhat challenging to fit monsters in there that actually fit in. My old MM features maybe 2-3 monsters at best that could be considered american.

In the army, we downloaded wikipedia and just sat and read and read and read...
I read all the articles about Mesoamerican cultures. Believe me - those people sure knew their monsters. that is, until the REAL monsters came...

Who, Starbucks?
It's fairly interesting, as most cultures are. I have a continent in my campaign just for that. My players have yet to venture there, though, so it's all on hold until if and when they get there.
