A painting I did for art class a couple years ago. I found it just recently and decided to post it, yay for me! It was just practice for watercolor technique, but I still like the way it turned out. Anyway, there's not much else to say about it unless you're interested in the boring details of how I did it, which I will now put down below. Ahem...

I painted the water and the sky first, simply dividing the picture in half between dark turquoise blue and light sky blue. I added the clouds by dabbing the sky with a paper towel, and I added the highlights on the water by wiping it with a wet paper towel. Brushed over the water with a wet paintbrush to blend it together and so the highlights were'nt so blatantly white. The bank of the river was drybrushed to add texture. The hills in the background are just.... well, basically just dark green watercolor blocked on.

Meh... Anyway, not that you care about how I did the picture... Just enjoy!
