Description
This piece was inspired by an orchestral piece called "Crysanthemums" by Puccini. My chamber orchestra is playing this piece and my teacher wanted to have a slideshow of student artwork showing on a screen as we played the song, so I submitted this piece for that. The piece Chrysanthemums was actually a requiem for someone who had died, but the music itself reminded me of ice and snow, and so I drew a frozen chrysanthemum with oil pastels.This is also the first piece I am putting up for sale, kind of as a little experiment.
