Yay! It's finally done! This started as a VERY rough (and kinda pathetic) sketch that I wasn't really planning to go anywhere with. Then one day I randomly decided to try coloring it, and whatd'ya know! It turned out fantasmic! I'm quite pleased with how it turned out, especially considering how often I said "This is a piece of poo!" while coloring it. Oh, and for those who don't know, this is my dragon character Hasbenya from a Role-play I'm doing with my friend ~seagull49-er This is him all young and small and being all curious about a hummingbird

Okay, so for those of you who are interested in how this was done, here goes. Started out just laying out the basic colors on the dragon's face, and doing the detail on the eye (my favorite part and I always do it first). Then, going back over the whole thing and drawing and shading each scale individually (OMG, this part is a pain in the butt, don't ever do it without some music in the background or you will end up burning your pic out of frustration! But the results are well worth it.) And THEN, after that, I went even more insane and added highlights on each scale with white paint (again, painstaking, but worth it). Colored the hummingbird, drybrushed the background and then blended with water, and voila!!! Er....
