My second and final commission I did for Kid Komix. It was ten billion years late.

The green thing she's holding is supposed to be her trench coat from the infamous "Red Sonja" crossover thing. I can't draw clothes it seems.

Some fun things about it: the font for Thor's Gym slogan is the same font as the recent Spidey movies. Also, MJ, if you look at her from Spidey's POV, is the "cherry" jackpot icon you get in fruit machines, with some gold bars (what she's sitting on) hence... the jackpot. Finally, her gamma-green eyes indicate she may have been doing something more than just going to the gym.

Doing this and the She-Ra commission were a pain in the ass because I wanted the character to come through; it should be MJ through and through - she just happens to be muscular. If MJ was this over-the-top muscular, she'd carry herself and look and act this way. It's really hard because, I'd just as prefer to draw her normal (hence my Power Girl and Caitlin pics are not overdone). Still, I'm uploading it because I think it's one of the best pictures I've done all in all. There's a lot about MJ in this pic I like; I think it really feels like MJ to me.
