What a cute scene! I love the foal very much, he looks really adorable.
Whole picture would looks much better if you draw it on softer surface. I noticed that trick - a lot of ending effect depends on the substrate, so you might draw on a sketchbook or something with a clearly clean surface without any facture. It's a gold regule!
