Morty, the younger brother of your friend, Summer, had irrupted on your room that fateful night, you still remembered his words like a curse engraved in the back of your head, the scene was still fresh on your psyche, that green shine framing his tiny being from behind giving him even a more sinister vibe. He had changed after what happened in Narvossa-D82, after Rick had abandoned both of you to your luck, where you finally discovered both your potential and Morty’s for survival, it was a miracle that you both made it out alive, that you could go back to your realities but it was a grudge that root deep in Morty’s heart and mind, so deep he had vowed to destroy Rick… Your Rick.

He knew how much you just loved that man, and so he used it on his advantage, he was using you and you knew it, but still how could you resist, he promised you everything you could ever imagined and more, he could give you every Rick and not only that but make every single one of them want you so desperately they would fight for you and he kept his word, he fulfilled it with him being now the president of the citadel, he had made a special law in which every rick would have to pledge a special kind of loyalty to you, every single one of them would be yours and yours alone whenever and wherever you wanted, it was most certainly paradise but still deep down you knew, the only rick you truly wanted was Rick C-137, the Rickest of them all, the passionate, the rogue, the one that you looked up to and had always worshipped since he agreed to take you in adventures with him and Morty and now he was here on the citadel, imprisoned and ready to be tortured for an eternity by your president, you were not mad or sad about it, you were jealous, you wanted him so badly and still even though he was at your reach you couldn’t have him.

That’s when he said when you confronted him, when you tried to bargain in sharing with you, but he refused, for the first time Morty had told you ‘no’ and you couldn’t take it, and then it hit you, you were ready to give everything up, your paradise, just to have him, you never wanted all the Ricks you just wanted your Rick all along and so you promised to yourself that if you couldn’t have him, then Morty couldn’t either.
