a ripped horizon between two identities--the flesh-colored setting seems to lift this surreal image into a place of challenge for the observer....could this perhaps be an image from the realm of the here and now (??...this piece challenges me. i am both comforted and frightened simultaneously....and it forces me to sit down and question my own image and its limitations of knowing.....incredible piece...a favorite for me...(btw..you are my favorite philosopher...)
