- Ingo is great when it comes to strategic planning, though that quality is lost as soon as a situation comes up which needs quick thinking. Instead of being thoughtful, he's impulsive and relies heavily on instincts and openings till he can distance himself and fight rationally. As a confident guy and a confident fighter, it can get to his head if things are going his way. He has a high self-esteem value of himself and is optimistic enough to not be bothered with most misfortunes that may befall him. Most of his optimism comes from the morale of his partners.
- Sometimes he overreacts when explaining or reenacting a story. He enjoys acting, and thinks he's pretty good at it. Though it may get too dramatic, he won't stop till it gets obnoxious.
- Ingo is happy to help as long as he can get something in return, like completing quests, for example. This is usually the case unless it's really something dire like where a life is in danger.
- He's not one to stay quiet, typically. When asked a question, he'll respond. It may not be the best answer, mostly a sarcastic comment, but he wouldn't just stay silent.
History
Life in Ikana Valley is normal for him. Growing up surrounded by the dead isn't something he'd call weird, weird is a place without walking corpses every hour of the day. As a child, Ingo would stay up at night and wait till there was a chance for him to sneak from the sacred ground of their tribe, a land in the valley where the dead have not set foot in ages. Armed with his spear and dagger, he'd leave to fight roaming Garo with techniques he would been learning from skilled warriors in order to perfect them.
Unbeknownst to him, most of them knew he snuck off so they would take turns as a night watch so they could eventually follow. Even though he was good at defending himself, he was still sloppy in hand to feet coordination. This was his greatest flaw and was what his sparring partners took advantage of when dueling. He grew tired and frustrated of losing to them, so he resorted to taking up busy chores and sleeping during the day and practicing against reanimated corpses during the night. The Sheikah in charge of him would watch as he got better with parrying thanks to his wild persistence. As he improved and got older, Ingo would try handling different weapons, but ultimately realized that he handled the Naginata best from other mains like bows or swords.
In his late-teens, Ingo started taking up entrusted mission the tribe would receive from an extended clan in Hyrule to their members. He thought it was his time to prove his strength to them, to finally put his years of training to work and defeat a monster terrorizing a whole town. His excitement dropped when he was given an escort mission. Most details were disclosed and the specifics were to protect a business traveler from Clock Town all the way to Snowhead for a secret meeting. Let down, but still willing, Ingo took off to commence the mission.
For such a simple mission, it was very fun for the sake of exploring Termina again. The idea of quests and rewards got to his head and he began accepting a bunch more from talking to townsfolk. His weeks became much busier than he would have anticipated.

- Vahni is a hothead. Getting her upset won't take much and making her content is about as hard as regaining a friend's lost trust. Because Ingo barely has a thought to speech filter, it took a lot for the two to connect. Now, Vahni can knows his little quirks which makes it easier to tell when he's goofing off and not take him seriously. Overtime, she's gained a soft spot for him. Vahni tends to point out Ingo's mistakes often in hopes that he'll correct them, and she's there to keep him in track if he gets distracted. He knows what her intentions are, but it constantly feels like she's nagging at him.
- It's rare for her to forget things.
Name: Vesi
Info:
- Vesi is a rational thinker and advises Ingo with alternatives and open spots if he notices the Sheikah is busy in a battle. He and Ingo clicked as if they were meant to be partners instead of Vahni. Vesi wants to see Ingo succeed and will be the voice of reason and delicacy.
- When he gets stressed, Vesi whines more than he's proud of.
Notes
- Whenever he would get the chance, he'd run off to Great Bay for a dive in the water.
- When the bay is unpopulated, he'd strip his armor and dark blue suit underneath when swimming. If not, he'll just go in with the undersuit.
- Ingo would legit spend hours combing the knots out of his hair even if it means it'll get tangled just the same on the next day.
- His upper right arm has deep teeth bites marks from a White Wolfos encounter gone wrong.
- Those tattoos on his face are permanent. When first getting them done, he didn't know what permanent meant and didn't want to seem stupid by asking. You can imagine the realization when he tried to wash it off.
- Thanks to having Vahni and Vesi, if there's a need for a quick escape, they can create a screen of steam for a quick get away.
