Now to the part I enjoyed immensely - this little accompanying story I wrote

[A bell rings as you push open the old wooden door and enter the small, dusty shop you have only so recently discovered. Ominous items gleam and glimmer in the half light that trickles trough the dirty shop windows. They beacon you to step in further, as if their twinkling was in truth a mischievous wink.
So you do step in as the door quietly slips closed behind you. You don't see a soul in here, no one is behind the counter and that serves you well. You want to discover this shop all for your own. Although from the looks of it, the shop owner is probably not the kind who would ask you if you need help anyway.
You slip along heavy shelf's that are stuffed full with all kinds of wondrous oddities. There are weird mechanical looking objects that almost look like clocks and almost look like compasses and all together somehow wrong. There are bottles filled with all kinds of unnatural looking things and herbs hang everywhere and emit a strange, fascinating glow. You are tempted to take up some items, give them a closer look – but something holds you back. At least until you see her.
At first you think it's just a fish in a small round bottle. But as you come closer you see that your fish has arms and hair and a face that looks incredibly human and incredibly beautiful. As the tiny mermaid spots you she swims very close to the glass and presses her hands against it, looking up at you with a sort of quiet desperation.
It tugs on your heartstrings a bit and you lay on fingertip softly against the glass. It covers her whole arm, and she comes even closer, now almost pressed against the glass.
The mermaid says something you can't hear but somehow you know that her voice is as sweet as that of a nightingale. Her lips form the words 'Free Me' – but before you can answer, you hear another voice. This voice sounds very much like a door that hasn't been oiled in at least a century. "Looks like you found something there that you like" When you turn around you see a very, very Old woman behind the counter, looking down at you over her big, pointy nose. She wears what you can really only describe as a witches hat.
"Well now, come, bring it here. And don't you drop it! Let's talk about the price." Her smile is full of yellow teeth...]
