Lets go Eevee/Pikachu has the Team Rocket Trio. I was really excited to see them in-game. but... well...
..Meowth Can't talk....
admittedly, I was sort of Expecting them to do this... but still...
they got, like, everything else perfectly... except for Meowth Talking...
just... why....
but regardless, its still an awesome game. I haven't gotten very far with it though... mostly because I've been shiny hunting... XD I already got a Shiny Pidgey and Vulpix (now a Pidgeot and Ninetales)

It's a sad thing, but I'm not surprised. Meowth didn't talk in Yellow either.

As far as I'm aware, the Let's Go games are based off of Pokemon Yellow. That's why it doesn't surprise me since I've already experienced that disappointment XD. Still would've been nice if they could've added some extra text and stuff.

Maybe... Meowth is trying to keep his talking ability a secret at large? Ash and a few others know Meowth can talk, but what if he choices not to around the majority of people? At least, when he's not in disguise.

like, meowth has never been quiet around anyone before, so I don't quite see how that would change tbh. but its a good theory at least... XD

I refuse to accept the fact that Meowth can't speak. ( OuO) ...
At the LEAST I will accept he is the same Meowth personality wise perhaps and maybe he just never had the encounter that lead him to learn human speech. At the LEAST.
