While the nude version is good, I much prefer the lovely dress, and the texture giving it this soft sparkle effect. The laces revealing a little cleavage and the laces low low on the back make it so much better than just plain nude

As an artist myself and a moderate fan of Rarity, this lovely example is by far the best version I've seen so far.
And I've seen quite a few.

I'm gonna test you on that by pointing out the most obvious criticism here: Contrast.
The room looks far darker than the light cast on her makes it seem, and we can tell that the prime light source is the windows by the highlights on her.
In general: The darker parts of her aren't nearly dark enough, and make it hard to notice she's supposed to be in a night-lit room.
Like you said; you probably could already figure that out on your own, but I had to call your bluff either way
