First official pic of my character Fiery Red.Man this pic took soo long to render and looks soooo plain and boring in the end.
but i wanna keep it simple as a colour palette so in the future i can come back and use these bold colours haha.
the original was over-designed, i had to dumb him down so much ~!

I'd say the design itself looks pretty good, it could just use more light/dark contrast to lift it off the page, as is it seems kinda flat; I used to have that problem all the time too.

well i didn't want the pic to come out too much, i mean the whole idea of the pic was more of a finished character design and colour scheme.

A little plain... maybe. But I could perhaps that plainness lends itself to usefulness: I could easily see this used in some sort of PC game, as part of a character status screen or something. Even though the fancy colors on your other work were definitely awesome, I don't think the plain style of shading really hurts this at all, it gives a slick stylized look. But again, I could picture this during the character generation of some MMORPG, where you adjust the look of your character - hairstyle, clothing, face, etc. Kind of like Daggerfall, if you ever played that old game, but a lot cooler looking.

this is really really cool, he looks like a character from an RPG, really love the whole design, especially the outfit, hair and sword, also like how you didnt put any black line art, I cant think of any critique, this is a great pic

yeah i actually got this style from King Of Fighters 2000, i saw that they had drawings like this and looked good so i gave it a try.
I only really like that sword thats it lol.

Great pic! looks really good! as for critics...hmm...the only thing i see wrong is...the waste curves in too quickly making his chest look big. Guys normally have a wider torso. apart from that it looks great! i cant do better myself!
