I have no idea why Chell didn't just escape through that vent. That was totally there the whole time. Seems simple enough.

if you go on youtube you can find official-not put in the game dialogue by Cave Johnson, where he states that all the air vents just lead to the AC unit and the test subjects should stop trying to escape through them.

"Attention test prisoners attempting to escape through the air ducts, I don't know what nonsense you learned on T.V, but in real life air ducts just go to the air conditioning unit. It's also pretty dusty, so if you've got asthma chances are you're gonna die up there. And we'll be smelling it for weeks, because again, the air ducts aren't a secret escape hatch. They're how we ventilate the facility."
Still it's a very cute comic, and I love the references to TF2 and half life

Mostly snark! It's just silly, why write a whole comment about the logic of why it's flawed? It doesn't add to the joke or make anyone say "Well now, ain't that something now!". The question I asked about the vent was a joke, obviously she couldn't escape from the vents, because 1. It's fiction and therefore any quick solve would have resulted in no interesting story, 2. GlaDos would probably have them trapped, and 3. Vents don't really work that way.
But it's alright, I'm glad you enjoyed it I guess?

I love how expressive you managed to make the cube look. It's awesome and -somehow- really really cute. I've always felt bad for those poor "monstruosity of science" that were the Wheatley-made cube while playing Portal 2.
