Description I did this for someone at work who asked me to draw a picture of Pete Doherty. I found him quite hard to draw, and tried a few references before I settled on this one, mainly because it catches (what I think) a more classy side, less tabloidly (not a word, I know).

I'm not sure how I feel about the finish product, mainly because it took some time to get it right. If you keep looking at something look enough you notice more and more flaws, but it's not a bad effort I think .

That's quite accurate . I should show my friend, she really loves the Libertines. Its a slightly haunted pose.

I think, looking at it now, I went a bit overboard trying to make it look 'right', which made it look worse than it probably could have been. I'm going to try again with him, in another pose which looks more classic, to see if I can nail it properly this time round
