Phew, just finished this, at 12.05pm. I should really be in bed, or doing anything else, but I'm not.

I did the line drawing one lunchtime at work, finished the detail that evening, and then coloured this one in photoshop yesterday night and tonight. The lines were done in HB and 2B graphite pencil.

It was a reasonably painless process, though I was in doubt as to whether to leave the shaded pencil marks in, or rely on the colour shading to define the shape. I eventually decided on a halfway-house, leaving some of the pencil, especially on the rocks because it seemed to me to give them added texture and definition. Flat rocks suck. I'm fairly pleased with the final result (though I'm not sure whether I prefer the B/W drawing to the colour) and tired enough not to want to do any more to it now.

And finally, a cartoony piece on here which isn't a Transformer. I am the win.
