So *Varasque was asking me how I coloured, so I made this in the hope that I could explain a little. 8'D
My "technique" (LOL) is a mish-mash of all sorts of tutorials, things I've read and experiments over the years. So if you see something and you think "Hey! That sounds like--" then chances are I read their tutorial once. XD
The picture stars the #cute-art-club mascot, Chime-chan. I'm hoping to enter their competition, the finished picture should be up soon.
Sorry I'm being so slow responding to messages and that lately. ;___; I am absolutely buried in work at the moment, both the school and art kind. I'll respond to them as soon as I can.
Also, I WILL put up a Copic tutorial eventually for those of you who want one. 8'D I promise.

I'd love to colour like you because you colour ama-zing but I'm not sure if I could even do all that.
I just colour with photoshop very basically compare to this and it still takes me ages to do even a page of my doujin.

With the eye part. You tell us to colour it black... how do we remove that, or blend?

When you set the layer mode to 'Colour Dodge' the black disappears. After that you can shade on there with grey, so it works a bit like the dodge tool. (Except it's a little more controlled, which is why I like it. 8D)
