"Holden, you have a girlfriend though..." Kassidy said.

"I don't feel anything for Molly anymore." Holden replied.

"I... I thought you were into cheerleaders?"

Holden looked more intently into Kassidy ocean blue eyes like never before and as he was, Kassidy started to feel her heart beating fast... She had never looked at any boy like this before and it actually scared her as she promised herself she wouldn't date in high school. However, she couldn't help but stare into Holden's wonderous brown eyes. When it came to blue and green eyes it was said they were the most amazing kind of eyes anyone's ever seen before, however, as Kassidy stared into Holden's eyes she found his to be much more amazing... and very handsome.

"Who says I can't be into goths?" Holden then gently pulled Kassidy closer to him and when he did Kassidy's eyes widened. She couldn't believe what was happening... She would never have guessed a high school boy would've fallen for her... Not even the popular Holden Brooks. "Kass, if I don't do this now I may regret it if we don't ever come out of this alive..."

Slowly but steadily, Holden started to lean his head towards Kassidy and as he did Kassidy's heart started to beat more faster than ever. She wanted to pull away as high school dating was not the best idea... However, they weren't in high school as they were still stuck in their bat forms still. They may never make it out alive and the more Kassidy thought about it the more she realized she had been developing some feelings for Holden and she didn't want to admit it but her heart couldn't hide it anymore. Was she scared to kiss Holden? More than anything as she wasn't sure how this would all end... However, the burning anticipation of kissing Holden Brooks never left her mind as she now felt herself leaning her head towards the purple bat.

Then, Kassidy felt their lips press together and at first she thought this was not going to go well... However, she couldn't help but feel how soft and tender Holden's kiss was. It wasn't forced but it was very gentle. Kassidy hated to admit it but she thought that Holden was a very good kisser. In fact, she didn't want this stop and she drew more closer to Holden like a string was pulling her and as she did, Holden wrapped his arms and wings around her like a curtain and they continued to kiss on this beautiful starry night.

They may not have gotten along at first but who said every kind of friendship had to be perfect?

But also since I know Valentine's Day will be here very soon I thought of drawing these two and yeah, spoilers this'll appear in my Silverwing fanfic. This is just an idea for now so it's not set in stone but soon I will be writing that exact chapter with something similar to this
