Description
This was designed for Kitacon, an anime convention in the UK that took place last weekend (13th-15th April).It was used as the cover for the Conbook, given to all convention attendees, and printed on a banner displayed at the convention.
The theme for the convention was Aztec and Mayan culture and the two characters are the convention mascots.
The original image was created using alcohol based markers and water soluble coloured pencils on A3 Bristol board.

Ahh that looks so lovely! There's a real sense of depth to the image and I love how it looks like the viewer is coming out from the undergrowth and getting a peek of this fantastic landscape beyond. Really nice work
