Nothing but angry, threathing shouts were heard from the outside. Guards with fellow civilians roaming the streets, determined to capture the changeling hiding among them. He shall recieve no mercy.

Wandering from nothing to nothing, Fierceray's imposter was trying to think of a plan of escape. His orders from The Queen were simple and clear, "Get rid of the hatchling he accidentally created, and then disappear.".. He held his weapon and put it aginst his child's throat, but as he wanted to end it's life he held his hand still, not moving a muscle. It was never difficult to take a life, but the more he thought about it, the more the strange.. "feeling" that was keeping him from doing it grew.

???: .... "Come on.. Just finish it..!" *His hand shaking, he wants to move it but his body refuses to listen*

He threw his weapon on the ground frustrated, taking deep breaths, stareing at his child's face.

The rioting outside began to grow louder and louder with the villagers closing in to the house. The changeling quickly turned his attention to the window, not much time is left until they reach the doorstep. Not able to take it's life, he slowly picked up the child and was prepared to take it with him. If he was to disappear, he decided to disapper completely and with the child. The croud outside was almost at the fence, there was no more time to waste. He went over to the back window and turned the knob before opening the window wide open, cold breeze instantly blowing into the room.

The changeling leaned onto the windowsill and got ready to jump, but froze in place as he felt a sudden grip on his collar. He looked down and was the little baby boy holding onto his collar, cuddling up to him to get warmer. He stepped away from the window and held the baby closer. Again he looked out of the window and saw the croud getting closer.

???: "What am I doing..? I must leave before they get here.." *Turning his attention back to the baby he noticed the baby wrapped it's tiny wing around his hand barely covering a half of it, creating a smile on his face*

The poor thing wasn't even a year old, it would die if he took it with him. Here, it has a home, somewhere to survive. He couldn't let it die out there.. not his own child.

???: "You're nothing like me.. Why should I care what happens to you.?" .... "Why DO I care..?" *He slightly rubbed the baby's back, with the response of a small squeak* "Heh.. Those months with you are rubbin off on me.."

The croud of ponies started bangging on the fence in front of the house. The changeling didn't flinch, he just nuzzled the baby's forehead. As the baby tried to nuzzle him back he felt tears running down his cheeks before rubbing them off.

???: "What are you doing to me kid..?" *He gently tucked the baby in bed*

The croud was not through the fence and getting to the front door. The changeling gently covered the baby with a blanket and stood above it.

???: "You know.. Everyone deserves at least a chance in this world.. And you boy got high ones." *He leaned towards the crib and kissed his son's forehead goodnight*

As he was climbing into the window he turned around to look at his baby one last time before he leaves.

???: "...Goodbye, Firefly... Daddy loves you..~"

You guys wanted something from Firefall's past, so here you go! This one in particular, is the last time Firefall was with his BIOLOGICAL father as a baby. I was aiming for the feeeels with this picture. X3 More story will possibly come, either from the future, (#spoilerz ) or even something from before this one! Who knows!? o3o

Anyway! I hope you like it!! Tell me what you think! have I improved?! (No seriously, I had to stay up till 1am to post this, and I have to wake up at 6am, so you better make it worth it ;w
