Flutterbat was a commission for the very talented Wicklesmack (go check out her art!) who gave me free rein to do whatever expression I'd like on this plush. I've been wanting to try open mouthed patterns for a while, so this seemed like a great opportunity to do a menacing (but still adorable) hissing Flutterbat! She is made of Yellow, Dusty Rose, Taupe, Raspberry, Mandarin and Snow White minky, with applique details and hand painted irises. She is 12" to the top of her head, and has posable wings and soft wire in her hair for a bit of added support.Related content

That's cool! Perhaps my favorite thing about your work is how you are always innovating and constantly improving your designs. Some of the plushy makers that I see on DA don't do that, their work never improves and they just stick to the same pattern, churning out the same thing over and over again. I know I'll never get bored watching what you come up with!
