Super cute, love her eyes. At first glance I thought she was a Rarity though because that lighting makes the lavender minky looks nearly white. That stuff is so hard to photograph!

Yeah I had the same problem when I made my Twi. None of the pictures I have of her seem to accurately show the color of her body. I wish there were a slightly darker lavender for her, but the next lightest purple that I've found is the violet from Fabric Depot and it's definitely too dark.

WAY too dark. Although there is this color out there called 'Jewel' that might work. I'd have to actually see it in person, though - you can never really tell what a color looks like from pictures online!

Jewel is too dark. It's pretty much as dark as violet, it's just more of a blue violet (if I'm remembering correctly). It'd definitely too dark though regardless.
I actually found an etsy seller with a great lavender and also a fantastic light orange for AJ but she only has those colors in 1mm pile and the minky that we use for plushies is 3mm

I can't find a color that would work well for AJ, except maybe 'Mango'. I'm glad no one has requested her yet, because I have no idea what fabric I'd use!

Mango/saffron (they are exactly the same color) is what everyone uses. It's not perfect, it's a little too yellow, but it's definitely the best available other than the random short pile light orange I found on etsy.

Saffron is what MInky Delight calls it, though they seem to not ahve it on their site anymore. They have very few things listed now actually. Fabric Depot has Mango, unless they are out of stock or something: [link]
