Description
Pokedex Entry: The mega evolved version of Blastoise its shell has become steel to act as protective armor. When firing the water cannons on its back it digs its claws into the ground to prevent itself from moving from recoil. Here is a recolored and shaded version of my previous made up version of the "missing" second megaevolution. I think it turned out pretty well considering. I would love feedback on what you like and what I can improve on in the future. I also made a quick little background for it.

work on your perspective. its very sloppy in the overall vision, as well as lacking originality, this piece shows how much you care about the individual details but lacks any life. you have talent and i know you can do better.

Thanks for the honest opinion. Hopefully with some advice and a bit of practice I'll get to see some improvements.

Here's some feedback! Warning! I might be a bit too blunt, and picky.
Overall, this Blastoise is slimmer than the standard one, which is illogical since the typing is now steel (very heavy - requires bulk). Being steel and all, There probably has to be more covering parts made of just that. It is unclear whether the shell is made of steel or not. The jagged edge of the shell looks very inconvenient for him and one may wonder what purpose they have!
Although his face looks great, his nose and ears makes him look slimmer than he should.
Ideawise, there really is no point having three cannons pointing the same direction, and especially having the middle one kind of repeats the already existing Blastoise's theme. It would be cool to see one cannon for each shoulder/hind leg instead, enabling attacks in all directions, since turning around would be one of the biggest weaknesses of this metal turtle.
The cannons do look like they have been put there after everything else was done, which explains why the cannon above his left arm looks very strange, regarding placement and angle.
Considering the issue of angles, the dots on his forehead (which he doesn't need at all) should not all be visible. The three furthest to the right should be somewhat if not totally hidden by the ear.
Oh my, I hope my opinions have not offended you! I was just thinking of things that I would have made differently and these ideas might not coincide with yours! He does look cool, despite what all I've said.

The slim thing is just my style really.XD I real turtle does not have a big thick muzzle like that so I followed that design a bit more perhaps it didn't work out. The shell is supposed to look like cooper. I know its "steel' type but i figured we could have a different type of metal in there. The shell design actually came from a real life turtle called the spiny turtle. I'm serious.....they look like that. 2.bp.blogspot.com/-5cDejPEG99A… . I thought i would just be cool and make blastoise look like when its rotating at you in a rapid spin or something it would look terrifying. Buzz Shell! I did not draw the canons after the design was done actually that one wonky ankle I did to try and make it look like the canons can rotate. (It was an epic fail though I just got sick of it.) No it can't hit behind. I did that unpurpose actually because in real life everything does have a weakness. Once behind all it an do is use its water canons to try and jetapult away. The dots are rivets. Thanks for your opinion I appreciate it. Guess I got a long way to go....*sigh*

Hey! Everyone has a long way to go, but you have already gone quite far It's very good, the small changes have made it look a lot better I think. (The hind leg looks brutal though! - close to the foot...). I don't think you need to change it more. Put that effort into your next project instead! That species of turtle looked awesome btw
I have never seen it before.
