You yawn as you flip through the numerous channels on the TV, nothing worth watching so early in the morning. You glance over to your boyfriend who’s sitting at the kitchen table with many books opened and papers everywhere.

“Kyoya do you have to do work so early? It’s Saturday will you come and watch TV with me?” You pat the seat next to you on the couch and flash the black haired boy a dazzling smile. Kyoya glances at you from the corner of his eye and pushes his glasses up on his face, selecting a blue pen from the various ones scattered on the table.

“Maybe a bit later [name], I need to add up the cost of the host club's last party and get a head start on my literature project. If I don’t finish this up now, I’ll never finish.” You pout and cross your arms in front of your chest as you stick your tongue out childishly.

“It’s 10:00 in the morning! You can start doing work like at noon or something. Just sit with me for an hour and then I won’t bother you anymore. I’m bored and there’s nothing good to watch.” Kyoya chuckles quietly and scribbles something down before pushing the paper aside and grabbing another sheet off a large stack.

“Why don’t you go out and enjoy the sun or work on your homework? I saw your last test grade and it doesn’t hurt to study a bit more.” You blush and look down on the ground, rubbing the back of your head.

“We-well it was [subject] and you know I’m no good at that at all! Plus all the questions on the test were stuff we never studied about in class!”

“Are you trying to make excuses [name]? Oh dear I have to add up those plates Hikaru broke and the glasses Kaoru broke as well.” Kyoya grabs a red pen and crosses off a few lines, placing the end of the pen against his mouth.

“You always have so much work and we don’t have enough time to spend together! You’re either working on stuff for the club or working on homework, do you even have time to breathe or have fun?” You stretch your arms in the air as you continue to watch your boyfriend work.

“You were very well aware of this when we agreed to go out remember? I wasn’t planning on having a girlfriend for a long while but things can change right?” Kyoya gives you a small wink, making you smile and blush brightly. Nobody at school could believe the day the studious Kyoya Ootori had a girlfriend; it was the talk of the school for almost a month.

“But that doesn’t mean I have to like it; I want to spend more time together than just watching you do work.” Kyoya gives you a small shrug and flips a few pages of his book before jotting something down. You blow your bangs out of your eyes and start flipping through TV channels again when an idea hits you.

You place the remote down and smirk, slowly getting off the couch and walking over to Kyoya. “Kyoya, will you please come sit with me on the couch? I’m so cold and lonely without your company,” you say seductively as you wrap your arms around your boyfriend’s neck from behind. “You don’t want me to be lonely now do you?”

The bespectacled boy chuckles softly and pushes his glasses up on his face, shuffling a few pieces of paper around on the table. “That won’t work on me [name]. I’ll keep you company in a few hours once I get through my paperwork.” You frown and lean close to his ear, breathing hot air on the shell of it.

“Are you sure? Why don’t you forget about the stupid papers and come be with me? I’m far more interesting right?” Kyoya smirks and selects a black pen, clicking it open and writing his signature on the bottom of the paper.

“You are more interesting than this but I really need to get this done and it’ll take me longer to finish if you insist on distracting me.” You pull away from him and stomp your foot angrily on the floor, Kyoya not even glancing at you. Another idea suddenly pops into your head and you smirk evilly.

You quickly walk back to Kyoya and snatch his glasses off his face, running on the other side of the couch and waving the thin lenses in the air. Kyoya gasps and looks around the room for you, his grey eyes narrowing darkly.

“[Name], give me back my glasses this instant. I do not have time to play any childish games,” he says in a low voice, sending shivers up and down your spine. You grip the glasses tightly in your hand and shake your head.

“If you want them back you’ll have to come and get them.” Kyoya frowns and slowly gets up from the table, putting his hands out in front of him.

“This isn’t very funny you know. I can’t see very much without my glasses,” Kyoya mumbles as he tries to follow the source of your voice. He squints in an attempt to see and his knee bumps into the end of the couch. He grunts as he trips over the couch and lands on his stomach on the soft cushions.

You giggle and jump onto the couch, gently putting Kyoya’s glasses back on his face and giving him a kiss on the forehead. “Now that you’re here will you please sit and watch some TV with me?” Kyoya sighs and chuckles, sitting up and pushing his glasses up on his face.

“Since you went to the trouble of getting me here I guess it won’t hurt to take a small break from my work.” You grin and flip the TV to a random movie channel, wrapping Kyoya’s arms tightly around you and snuggling into his chest.

He chuckles and gives you a kiss on the top of your head, squeezing you as he makes himself comfortable on the couch. “You’re a big distraction you know [name]. I’m surprised I can get any work done with you around. But I don’t really mind; you’re the good kind of distraction.”
