Been awhile since I've uploaded, huh? Some more human practice, this time of Oni Martinez in his "dream avatar" over on Gaia. Personally I don't like those things on the neck, the cone like collars, they never come out right for me in the end even with coloring, shadows, and highlights added.Tools and References used:

I know what you mean about those cone-shaped collar. They look like a pain to draw, which makes me glad I've never had to draw one yet. >.>;
it's still pretty though, those golds make me feel warm and fuzzy inside, but then again your drawing always do that to me.

I've had to draw a few of those types of collars, from the jester collar to the fluffy ruff collars. The ruff ones work out better then any others I've tried.
I like working with golds, it's fun.
