Hey all! Meet my extremely stubborn TMNT OC, Devaki. Not ONLY is she stubborn, but she’s hard headed and very, very, very annoying. And for the record, she IS a girl. Despite her un-girly nature and her very un-girly choice of clothing, she is very much a girl.

This took an unholy amount of time to finish. In a perfect world, if would’ve been finished FOUR DAYS AGO. But alas, it wasn’t. AND HERE WE ARE TODAY. Why the hold up, you ask? Well – about halfway through it, I accidentally erased the entire picture from my hard drive.

FR: … Wow. That’s depressing.

Then I had to redraw the last “everyday” wear about six times. I somehow kept erasing it. Thanks to my very lovely LAPTOP

And then there was the matter of transferring it from my laptop to my parent’s computer so I could put on it online. But that’s a different, and very long, story for another time. SO MOVING ONTO WHY YOU ARE HERE.

AKA: Devvie, Eva, THE BOMBANATOR (*snerk* Yeah, right)
Age: 13/14
Gender: Female (but we already covered this)
Species: Turtle (despite how much she wishes other wise)
Height: 4’5”
Weight: 134
Eye Color: Green
Fav. Color: She harbors a secret love for the color….pink (don’t tell HER that though – you might end up with a hole in your head)
Weapon: HER MOUTH. Just kidding, just kidding. She’s not one to KNOW how to fight – though she certainly likes to start them. But I suppose in an absolute dire need she could just blow the (s)hell outta people. So…explosives?
Hobbies: … Explosives, fireworks, engineering (wait, what?!), and… sleeping. She is obsessed with doing puzzles. Any kind of puzzles from word cross to picture puzzles. It’s almost an obsessive compulsive drive to do a certain amount a day.

Personality (Omnomnomnom):

- Loud mouthed; speaks her mind
- Seemingly uncaring towards others
- Indifferent to life that doesn’t affect her
- Snarky and defensive when confronted
- Has a self esteem that could fuel all LA (in other words, when she knows she’s good at something, she KNOWS and she’ll make sure you know too)
- Has a piece of heart SOMEWHERE in her stoned heart

Strengths (Pffttt):

- Like I said, self esteem; She’s ALWAYS right in her mind
- Because of her love of puzzles, she’s a quick thinker on her feet in bad situations, though, most of the answers just come back to “…Just blow it up and get the hell out of here!”
- Thick headed; She wants something, she’s going to get it.
- Good attention to detail; Almost a must when working with bombs/fireworks

Weaknesses (Oooh, this should be fun):

- Again, self esteem: She’ll never admit when she’s wrong which usually gets her into a whole heck of a lot of trouble
- Has a huge and paralyzing fear of water
- Cannot stand to be underground or in an enclosed space
- Has a certain knack of pissing people off
- Very weak physically; Can’t run a block without being completely winded and light headed
- Has a “short-person” complex
- Thinks she’s “normal” and refuses to believe she’s a turtle of any sort, thus refusing part of herself which makes her very irritated and angry most of the time
- Likes instigating fights
- Immensely enjoys pointing out other’s mistakes

Talent: Unfortunately, Devaki has very few abilities that can be labeled as a “talent”, but for the sake of this contest, she’ll show off her “talent” of blowing things up. Or more specifically, fireworks (they’re safer than bombs… I hope).

History (Naturally it’s never been written out BEFORE):

There’s not a lot known about this non-turtle-turtlette. From some little tidbits she’s said over the years, Devaki was found in a dumpster a couple of blocks away from the Junk Yard. A man, clinically insane, found her. He was a homeless man, shunned to the streets after he was kicked out of his university for making “unstable explosives” and blowing up half the building. He always wanted the perfect family, as he was a horrific neat freak and perfectionist, so when he found Devaki, he saw it as his one and only chance at having the perfect family. Even though she was, quite clearly, NOT a perfect anything, with her mud-discolored skin, and pale chipped shell/plastron and all around NON-HUMANNESS, but he still loved her. Every day, they started off the day with him reciting to Devaki that she was NORMAL and just like everyone else. Slowly, she began to believe this. Pretty soon she lost all caring as to why she was green and different than the other kids, and started seeing herself as something just like them.
Along with this, he also told her all his conspiracy stories, all his knowledge of bombs, how everyone was out to get him, and that the little voice in his head was getting really annoying.
Then, one day, he up and disappeared. Devaki was roughly 10 at the time. She thought nothing of it at the time and continued on living from day to day believing she was completely normal. Then one fateful day, she ran into two mutant turtles, (Raph and Don on a mission for some parts for their new home) who promptly scared the living crap out of her, and her they.
AND THUS, her whole world was turned upside down and everything she ever knew was conflicting with itself. Being told her whole life that was “normal”, then suddenly being told otherwise made her confused and angry and almost always with some sort of fever or cold. Soon her anger consumed her and she did the only anger management she knew – blowing things up. She no longer liked the simplistic-ness of just bland fireworks – she needed something MORE. Though, blowing up buildings helped her to be calm and more easy going – it didn’t help that there were a few close calls with buildings not being evacuated completely before they randomly imploded/exploded.
Though she all but refused to move in with the TMNT, they did try to keep tabs on her, going to check up on her at least once a week, much to her dismay.
It wasn’t until she turned 15/16 that she finally came to the realization that she just might not be normal.

LOL REALLY SHORT HISTORY 8D

STUFFS:

- Devaki’s hat was given to her by her “father” right before the little voices in his head told him to leave. It’s about a size too big for her head and it used to be a deep maroon. She considers it her “lucky” hat, because she’s never died while wearing it…
- She is not one to try and hide her scars and cuts. Quite the contrary, she likes to parade them about as if they’re medals of honor to show how “tough” she is. All except for the one her nose. No one is quite sure why, but she’s very defensive about the scar on her nose, and constantly covers it up with a band aid.
- She gets along best with Donatello, and he’s the best out of all of them that can stand her somewhat.
- She DOES wear boots from time to time (the shock).
- No one knows why she only wears pants when she thinks she’s not a turtle.
- She cannot STAND new technology. She mostly can’t understand it (much like the Shell Cells).
- She loves buildings and has most of the blueprints of the city stored in her warehouse.
- She does sell Fireworks on the Fourth of July.
- She’ll do anything for money.
- She refuses to discuss the reason she’s so terrified of water. She won’t even walk in the rain.
- She totally blew up my dress I made her. D:
- She loves revenge.
- She won’t hesitate to blow you up. Trust me.
- Ummm… I think that’s it! 8D
