Software : Paintool SAI+ no need to draw neat lineart
- must use pen tablet for best results.
I used my OC, Luna as model example~
I'm not good at explaining but, hope this helps!

Ini yg menurutku plg cepet sih. Yg satunya lagi menurutku ribet krn lineartnya harus "perfect". Sebenarnya lbh simple di bagian shading tapi gk sabar di bagian lineartnya hha~

sebenarnya kadang2 aku lupa sama step2 sendiri, apalagi bagian rambut wkwkwk
kebanyakan layer, klo punya tutorial gini kan lumayan bisa inget terus sekalian bagi ilmu XD
Aku hampir gk pernah ngitung layerku sihh~ yg penting klo aku buka di SAI terus gk ngadat/ hampir crash artinya msh di bawah 100 layer kok ^^
ada folder di dalam foldernya folder
akhir2 ini lagi sering merge layer biar hemat layer sih hha XD
Kalau BG langit kadang2 dipisah filenya terus dijadikan image dulu~ lighting paaaaaaling terakhirnya itu buat nyatuin semua dari BG sampe FG

Edaaaaann 100 layer xD aku 20 layer aja uda pusing kynya hahahahhaa paling gak betah kalo liat layer banyak2... ujungnya smua di merge trololol...

Is not the software, its me. I just can't do some lines the way I want manually with the mouse and they end up looking bad

If you use paint tool SAI, you can use vector line to make a smooth lineart ^^
I'm pretty sure with a lot of practice you can master it~

Very nice, the end result is beautiful !
I really like your lighting techniques and I think that it conveys a lively/magical feeling; personally I'm super hesitant about using highlights, it's something I'll have to learn xD.
