Hey all, long overdue 3rd part to commission set about Ayeka with a big ole' booty.I keep saying I want to upload more, but I've been bad about finishing things, so its been some personal projects and sketches on my regular tumblr, but I have people I'm disappointing by not working on commissions, and I'm only hurting myself.
I'mma try to get through those (please contact me if I told you I'd give you a commission slot!) but man, I really want to draw some Jasper from Steven Universe. I NEED to do that.

Doing a project for someone else when u want to do ur own thing is rough. There r some time where I've literally thought "the faster I finish what they want the faster I can get started on my own stuff!"
Some times it helps sometimes it doesn't T-T

Halfway solution: Start a tumblr or something for WIP stuff. When you're working on something you like, scan it or save it before you leave and just throw it up on the tumblr with everyone knowing by virtue of visiting that this is all unfinished stuff. That way you can upload more without having to "finish" more.

Many find it tricky to get around that fun to work shift when drawing. Just try to keep it in mind in the future if you're worried about disappointing people.

Not that I'm trying to absolve myself of personal responsibility, but the combination of computer building frustrations and working on this old overheating laptop in the middle of summer, well, its not a very exciting prospect.
There's very cool people out there who are incredibly understanding about my work speed, and I definitely appreciate their infinite patience.

True enough, there are plenty around who will be mellow about the wait. Life happens, stuff changes, just mean don't let your work side overload yourself. Or keep people in the loop as to why. With communication people will usually understand.
