I really definitely love her backstory with Zaraki and how she was the original "Kenpachi" and the former Captain of Squad 11 during the Gotei 13's founding. And how she first met Zaraki as a kid and fought against him, which led him on a path to take up the name Kenpachi and become the one Strongest Captains of Squad 11 and finally learning his Zanpakuto's name, Nozarashi!

I caught this filler episode on Toonami a while back. www.youtube.com/watch?v=GkVcn-… which would have aired in Japan quite a while before the manga revealed their backstory. Me and my friend are looking at each other like "oh shit, how are they gonna handle this?" I wonder if they actually asked Kubo beforehand how Kenpachi would react to her, as I can't really remember them interacting much otherwise.
