Red and white chequered floor,
Shiny enough for me to see,
The man with the low hat by the door,
Silently watching me.

He should have known not to come.
Maybe they didn't tell him.
Of the men I've killed and the things I've done,
So many it'd make his head spin.

Funny that, I doubt he knows,
That's what'll happen tonight.
For all the skill, the fancy shows,
I'm the one who'll win this fight.

His coffee's gone cold, It's time to be bold,
I go outside and wait for it.
I slow right down, let it take hold,
To help me take this little shit.

He steps outside, goes for his hip,
I move in fast, but slow enough for me,
I've already won, given them the slip,
Already evaded their royal decree.

I take a grip, and twist,
His weapon useless on the floor,
He already knows, has the gist,
Of what his chances were, so poor.

I get in the car and drive away,
Smiling with a cigar in my mouth.
Safe again, for another day,
Until my luck runs out.
