It's been four - nearly five - years since Brian Jacques passed away...when he died, so did my muse, at least as far as Redwall-related art went. But all seasons come to an end, and my time of mourning is finally over. I decided the best way to re-enter the fandom with a piece of my favorite character...or at least one of the top five - so hard to choose! But Deyna the Taggerung has always been precious to me...even inspiring in my younger seasons. I certainly tried to do him justice.

Taggerung was the very first book I read in the Redwall series, and because of that, Tag is my number one favorite character in the entire series.

definitely good to see a pic of this character... was my favorite through the series myself. Remember being pretty upset about his passing as well, but I started building up my collection of his books again, just need to look back over them once in a while, lol

I'm still sad about his passing. I try to do at least one Redwall piece a year in honor of him.

The Taggerung is still probably my all time favorite book. I've read it like 4 or 5 times cover to cover. Deyna is such a great character. Nice job!

i never could figure out how to get the waist to attatch to the legs with my anthro characters. of course i've noticed its been a while since i've seen redwall from you
