I've always wondered why people don't mix Sci-fi and fantasy more. I want to see a space wizard battle a cyborg dwarf pirate on a space whale colony. That would be amazing! Ever since I had that idea a while back, I've wanted to do a web comic of it.

Critiques are welcome. Let me know if you think any of it could have been done better.

I plan to color it after work today. Or at least flat it.

The alien that is examining the crystal staff is inspired by the Prawns from District 9. Which are probably one of my favorite alien designs in anything.
The little guy was mostly inspired by one of Jake Parker's sketches. I decided to give him a ferret-like body because I'm trying to get used to draw characters in that shape and size for my web comic.
