Description
Four of four. This large minnow would historically grow to 6ft. and 100lbs. It's massive spawning runs would take it the length of the Colorado River until impoundments along the river's length hindered its movements. Today, the Colorado pikeminnow (formerly the Colorado squawfish) has been extirpated from Arizona.Watercolour pencil on watercolour paper. Original ~9x6.
