I wanted to practice skin tone painting so i did a 1 hour black and white speedy for composition and then spent another hour on colors.Related content

hm, I see what you mean about blending near the terminators. I've been trying to paint that way. I start a shade I pick to be darkest and black everything out in the composition, then I'm putting the bright areas on that and blending near the edges. I hadn't thought to start in black and white though. Do you paint on top of that when you've got the composition?
