Hello. This is my Vista Customization Pack Version 1. The files you see in this pack aren't made by me though

But it's 73 Megabytes though. Sorry.
So as you can see, it's not just a skin pack. It has many Vista Features such as Flip 3D and Taskbar Previews and Mail and Photo Gallery. Most Packs that I have seen, are only Vista Skin Packs. This one has many, many other things. So this might be worth a download.
Version 2 will come soon. It'll have many more things. Most aplications will be updated and they will be more stable.

Maybe the problem is that Deviantart is oriented to people who develops things, or at least are rare or original. You're saving a lot of people's time, people who looks for every program you have attached, and I appreciate that. It would be useful to create a section specially for software and packs. I don't approve an attack to someone that actually is trying to help.

I know this was long time ago, but let's just say that we're back in time...
Well, yes. I do have my sources. I find most of this stuff on DeviantART but I am not a real skinner (now I am but...). I don't really care about being the "laugh of the day" because, I enjoy what I do, and I will keep doing it until I am satisfied..
Oh, and about the comments thing, I want to hear other people's criticm, I want to see people spam other's pages...

Try setting your desktop icons to large, the small icons look ****. What's that Styler skin? It looks good. Try adding some originality to your pack, there is already enough Vista packs out there for me wanting to choose this one.

I like the idea behind Aero, but I don't like my XP to look like a cheap copy of Vista. I use some things I managed to collect over the time, I use StolenVS by leosss, a cool Vista IconTweaker pack (the Vista icons are nice imo) and I use some Vista icons here and there.

Well, like I said, my second version of my pack is going to contain better things than this one. But I'm looking at StolenVS. It doesn't look very good, imo. Don't be criticizing me for my own opinions but, he's using a black version of Windows Vista Basic. The one that comes in my pack is Aero Glass. So with my pack, your computer will look exactly like Vista. And has more features than most packs I've seen. Like Flip 3D and Taskbar Previews. Just look at my latest Desktop Picture and you'll see.
One more thing: WindowBlinds is the only good aplication that I've found so far that supports Blur and Transparency but Kayeirene's Vista Perfection Skin is only for WindowBlinds.
If you're planning to get WindowBlinds, then you should get WindowBlinds 6 because is supports Blur. WindowBlinds 5.1 and up only supports Transparency. But I'm not forcing you to buy WindowBlinds.
My main point is, in my own opinion, I think my pack might be better than most already out there.
And: Your computer won't look like a cheap copy of Vista. The Icons don't need IconPackager. Vista Transformation Pack already automatically installs the icons for you.
There are only a few other things that Vista has that I'll include in Version 2. But other than that, referring to this version, the only thing that's kinda messed up is the Icon Size and the Vertical Icon Spacing. Which can be easily changed with Styler.

What I meant is that with a Vista Transform pack, XP will look like a cheap copy of Vista (just the outside will look like Vista, but underneath all this skinning, it#s still XP). I like the idea that Microsoft had, and a lot of the graphics art looks good, but I don't like copying all of it directly to XP. I'll get Vista for that. StolenVS is obviously inspired by Vista, but takes the idea in another direction, something I really like.
I was hoping one of these days, I'd see a "transformation pack" that will transform my XP into something nice and more modern then Luna, in the direction of Vista, but not really. It's impossible to get XP to be exactly like Vista, and all these packs on here promise me the same, but none of them are able to do it perfectly. I can't keep track of which pack has what since they all look the same to me to an extent. A transformation pack that would also be inspired by Vista, but would take it another direction, something more innovative, that would be a nice deviation I believe. Too bad I don't have the skills.

I see what you mean, I don't have the skills to make my own skins and icons. So I use other peoples work to make one huge pack. But I don't take any credit for this.

I'm not going to buy Vista. It doesn't support my 3D sound card. And it costs so much and my computer doesn't even support Windows Vista. So my computer will be bloody slow and it'll have crappy sounds.

I think Vista is the biggest ripoff perpetuated on the computer buying public since Windows MiniMe (Me) and Aero is a retroactive abortion of an interface designed by a burned-out art deco reject.
The multiple Vista wannabe packs clutter up deviantArt and waste valuable server space IMNSHO.

MiniMe was an OS, as was the entire Windows 9x lineup, of which it was a variant.
Having tested Vista extensively, I am yet to find one quality that would cause me, a veteran of this business for over 18 years, to recommend it to a user.
