Description
The sunlight shined on the old brick buildings in the city of Saint Viktoria or as shortened as Viktoria. It had been raining for the last few days so no one was really out except for when they had work or school. No one wasn’t out in the morning except for Haruhi Swan (Pronounced as Ha-ru-hee). She wore a black sweater and blue jeans with red sneakers. Her brown hair was cut short, but it was long enough to have a little pony-tail to tie back, which she occasionally did. She had bright blue eyes that people fell in love with. She was 15 years old. It was a school day but most people didn’t leave at 7:30 to arrive at school. The only other person that arrived so early was Jordan Mars, who was incredibly intelligent for a 15 year old. He had longish, red hair and dark blue eyes. He had a few freckles on his face, but that was about it .The two talked for a bit but then stopped for a year. Some people thought it was weird how Jordan stopped talking to her since no one else talks to him except for James Granger, but James isn’t a very bright boy.
Haruhi didn’t pay attention and knocked right into someone. “Oh god I am so sorry!” Haruhi looked to see that she was right on top of Jordan. She quickly got off him. Jordan felt pretty bad for knocking into her. He found his voice to say to her “I should be apologizing.”
“No need.” She rushed to pick up her books “I just need to learn to watch myself.” she rushed to school without another word. Jordan stood there as he watched Haruhi disappear into the thick, morning fog.

“I would love to knock into Jordan like that.” said Haruhi’s best friend, Jenni Copper. Her full name is Jennifer, but has it shorten like most Jennifers do. Jenni and Haruhi had known each other since they were in kindergarten. They were complete opposites such as Jenni had the more attractive looks than Haruhi, Haruhi was a bit of a nerd and played a lot of video games while Jenni went shopping and went to parties and Jenni had a crush on Jordan Mars while Haruhi...not so much. Jenni was putting on her cherry red lip gloss when Jordan came up to them. Jenni just froze and put away her lip gloss and smiled at him. Haruhi looked at him and said “What do you want?”
“I-I just wanted to say sorry for bumping into you. I should’ve not have been daydreaming. I am terribly sorry though.”
“Yeah it’s alright. I’m perfectly okay, as you can clearly see.” Haruhi played with her hands. She didn’t mean to be so cruel-sounding towards him. It just annoyed her how Jenni kept looking at him like he was God or something. Jordan noticed Jenni staring at him and he waved at her. “I’ll see you in science then.” After Jordan left, Jenni looked at her, with a shocked expression.
“He’s in your science class and you didn’t tell me?” Jenni said, red in the face.
“Why, you jealous?” Haruhi teased.
“Oh heck yes!” She shouted. “But why didn’t you tell me?”
“I don’t need to tell you everything Jen.” Haruhi sighed. The bell rang for class.

“Class, can you tell me what element this is?” Mr. Colbert asked. He was Haruhi’s science teacher.
“It’s Phosphorus, sir.” Everyone’s eyes turned towards Jordan Mars’s direction.
“Of course he knows.” smirked Chris. Chris’s friend, Ryan laughed with him. Mr. Colbert looked in Chris’s direction “You could’ve answer just by looking in the back of the textbook Mr. Heska.”
“Of course but he did it, without looking.” Chris still had his smirk.
“Oh piss off Christopher.” Everyone then looked at Haruhi’s direction. Haruhi started regretting that. Mr. Colbert gave her a sharp look. “I’ll talk to you after class, Mrs. Swan.”
“Yes sir.” blushed Haruhi. Jordan looked at her, feeling kinda bad for her.
“Anyways, let’s carry on.” Mr. Colbert announced. He continued on. Haruhi felt a hand on her arm. It was her best friend Vitaly Reid. Haruhi usually called him Vivi. She had called him that ever since they were in grade two. Vitaly has longish brown hair that went to the shoulders. He had silver like eyes. He often wore eyeliner and punk clothing. He was often made fun for that. “It’s okay. You did good.” he whispered. It made Haruhi feel a bit better.
It was after class when Haruhi had to talk to the teacher. “Haruhi, you’re a great student, don’t get me wrong about that, but please when something like that happens, just let me handle it. And I would appreciate it if you didn’t use that language in my classroom.”
“But sir, it’s not like I used the f word or anything like that.”
“I know, but, still- Don’t use that language in my class please.”
“Okay.” Haruhi sighed “Can I go now?”
“Yes you may.” Mr. Colbert smiled “Have a good day Haru.”
“Okay, thanks, you too.”

“Geez, that’s so stupid! You didn’t swear and you get heck? I’m sure glad Mr. Colbert isn’t my teacher. Although I wish I was with Jordan.” Jenni was painting her nails a bright pink.
“Piss is an impolite word to use Jenni.” Their friend Amy Nelson said. Haruhi and Jenni had known Amy since the sixth grade. Amy was in Jenni’s and Haruhi’s class. Amy also dated Haruhi’s one friend, Travis Pilgrim, which usually goes by as “Trip”. Haruhi sighed. Amy looked up and said “Oh look there’s Jordan Mars. He’s kinda cute actually.” Jenni had a shocked look to her face. Amy continued reading her book. Haruhi looked frustrated. He had his friend, James with him, which creepily stared at Jenni. Jordan sighed “Um, hey Haruhi. I just came by to say thanks for somewhat doing that for me in class. It made me kinda feel bad that I can’t really stand up for myself. But yeah, thanks.” He nervously spoke.
“You’re welcome Jordan.” Haruhi took a bite out of her sandwich. Jordan nodded his head, waved, and left with James following him. Jenni looked at him with such dreamy-like eyes. Vitaly and Trip came up to where they were sitting.
“There’s our little Haruhi.” said Trip. “I heard what happened with Mr. Colbert. You okay Haru?”
“Yeah I’m fine. Don’t worry about me so much. It’s not like he yelled in my face and made me cry or anything like that.” Haruhi sipped out of her chocolate-milk box. She sat that down and took two bites out of her sandwich. “I’ve noticed that Jordan is somewhat talking to you again. It’s kinda weird how he didn’t talk to you for a whole year and now he’s all like ‘Hi Haruhi’. Quite honestly, it’s stupid and annoying.” Vitaly crossed his arms.
“How’s it annoying?” asked Amy.
“I don’t know. It just is.” Vitaly shrugged his shoulders.
“Actually, when I do think about it, it is pretty strange.” Jenni looked up at the sky. “Maybe James is annoying him. He annoys me in social studies, that’s for sure.”
“Eh, I wouldn’t be surprised at all.” smirked Trip.
“Yeah. James is just a stupid bitch that needs a life.” Haruhi sipped her chocolate milk.
“Haruhi, that’s quite harsh.” laughed Vitaly.
“I don’t care anymore.” said Haruhi.
