Description
It was another sunny day in Saint Viktoria. Another school day, another work day, another sick day, and so on. Haruhi was drinking her regular coffee. She looked at a sleeping Scott. She wore a striped t-shirt that had a lighter shade of pink as the smaller stripes and the thicker stripes were a darker pink colour. She wore black skinny-jeans along with it, red sneakers. She was glad that she always dropped her schoolbag off at her home and she was kinda glad that they were attacked because then she wouldn’t worry about getting her bag in the morning. But she was worried for the others. Scott’s eyes fluttered opened like a butterfly’s wings. He looked around the room then at Haruhi. “Morning, sunshine.” He greeted. Haruhi started laughing while shaking her head. “You’re too ridiculous.”“Let me walk you to school.”
“Um, okay.”
“You never know when they might strike again.”
“I should be fine Scott.”
“I know that, but it’s kinda part of my man instincts to protect after we were attacked.” Haruhi laughed at Scott’s comment. He looked kinda sad. She didn’t blame him. If her family was attacked she would be sad too.

“So this is your school?” asked Scott.
“Yeah.” Haruhi replied.
“Impressive. I wish I graduated from here instead of that crappy school in Uptown.” Scott chuckled. Scott had an IQ of 190 so he graduated when he was 13 years old. He could tell if you were lying, what your emotions were. He also could tell you other things too. He could tell you when a book was published and the exact number of sales it had. Or he could tell you whether the jewellery box that perhaps your Grandmother gave you the approximate origin and its approximate date that it was made. “Hey Haru!” Both Haruhi and Scott turned their heads. It was Jenni. Jenni ran up to them. “I’m not sure if you noticed but Jordan’s looking at you guys.” Jenni chirped. She looked at Scott with amazement. “And who is this stranger?” She blushed as she asked the question.
“I’m Scott. I’m a good friend of Haruhi’s.” He smiled.
“Haruhi, why do you know so many hot guys?” Scott was pretty shocked hearing that. He never thought that he was considered attractive.
“I don’t know, I just do Jen.”
“Well I’m jealous!” She yelled.
“Jenni, please don’t yell.” Haruhi sighed.
“Oh Jordan does want to talk to you.” Jenni added.
“Then I’ll talk to him.”

“Can we talk private?” Jordan Mars blushed saying this statement.
“Yeah.” Haruhi replied. “Guys, piss off” she said to her other two friends. Scott shrugged his shoulders and walked away. Jenni looked disappointed. She followed Scott.
“So, um, where do I even start?” Jordan scratched his head nervously.
“I don’t know. It’s not like I know what you’re gonna say. Just pick something and say it.” Haruhi shrugged her shoulders.
“I know this will sound crazy, but I think Mr. Colbert might try to own you. And not for a good reason either.”
“Jordan, that is the greatest joke I’ve ever heard.” Haruhi sarcastically talked.
“I’m serious Haruhi. He’s planning on doing very evil stuff with you.”
“Oh god, you really are crazy!” Haruhi face palmed her face.
“I’m not lying about this. I’m really not.” Jordan felt frustrated. “You are familiar with the Darkstone Alliance, right?”
“How do you know about that?” Haruhi freaked out.
“I overheard him talking about it with Daisy.” Jordan answered.
“I don’t want you involved in that.”
“Why not?”
“Because it’s dangerous.”
“I like danger.”
“Jordan- forget it. You want to waste your time, go ahead. I don’t care. It’s not much really.”
“Then why did you freak out when you heard the alliance name? You even said it was dangerous.”
“I was surprised. End of story.” Haruhi felt anger rising up to her.
“Really? Tell me-”
“End of story!” Haruhi yelled. She looked around hoping that nobody stared. It was only Jenni looking with dreadful eyes and Scott gave Jordan a sharp look. “Anything else?”
“Would you go to the Halloween dance with me?” A nervous Jordan asked. Haruhi was shocked. No one ever asked her to go to a dance with her.
“Haruhi, please answer I don’t care if-”
“Yes.” She answered. “I’ll go with you.” Jordan smiled at her response. He pulled out his cell phone. “Can I have your number?”
“Yeah sure.” Haruhi grabbed Jordan’s phone and added her number to his contacts. “There’s my cell. I put my home there too.”
‘Uh, thanks.” he smiled.
“You’re welcome.” The bell rang for class.
