yep came out nice, desaturated background, saturated model. Only improvment next time is possibly we should think out lighting a bit better

Its just a cows heart with some fake blood made from washing up liquid and red food colouring. Then held up in front of the camera as you can see.

I think this picture, even more than #1, exemplifies why I would disagree with the assertion that has been made that the heart is too big. While that has more to do with 'The Heart #1', it still applies here. The very fact that there is a person holding such a gargantuan bloody mass is what makes it stand out from the crowd. I mean, people holding small bloody hearts and other assorted organs are a dime a' dozen these days, as odd as that may seem. When you see the thumbnail of this one, you have to click on it, if for no other reason, to see what the hell he's got there.
So anyway, yeah I prefer the larger bloody mass in both pictures. And technically speaking, I like the subtle depth of field in this one, whether added 'in post' or a product of the shoot itself.

Thanks so much dude, im really lad you like it. I feel that even though i would have origonaly prefered to have had a small heart, i do agree with you that it does make it different.
As for the DOF, that was completely in camera and intentional, so thank you so much for noticing.
