Everyone's entitled to their own opinion about who should play who in the upcoming Maximum Ride movie. So no unnecessary comments on this.Ok, so obviously this is what I think should be the people to play as the flock. (other people coming soon if I'm too lazy enough) Yes, I know some of their actual ages aren't really close to the flock's but at LEAST they LOOK the appropriate ages and that's the most important. Besides, you can only get so close into looking the part.
Max: Ellen Page - I know, I know. Ellen's in her early 20's or whatever and she's about 5'1". But I like what she's done especially in Juno. Heck, even Max likes the idea of Ellen portraying as her. (see Fang's Blog for proof)
Fang: Avan Jogia - He. Is. The. Per. Fect. FANG!!!! NOTHING can get close to him!!!! <333
Iggy: Alex Pettyfer - Like I said about Fang. Perfect. And hot as well. ^_^
Nudge: Gabby Soleil - Gabby seems just right to be Nudge. Not much else to say about her though.
Gazzy: Jackson Brundage - Well he's young and cute, what else to say other than he can also act?? lol
Angel: Elle Fanning - Elle's just WAY too perfect for Angel. I've seen a couple people suggesting Dakota, but she's too old so I prefer her little sis. ^_^

Holy... perfection. Don't really agree with Max, because regardless of book descriptions I've always imagined her to be a little more tough and taller, lol. However, the rest are dead on!! <3

wow, that's a great cast! I especially love your pick for Max, since I get really annoyed with people thinking Max is blonde. (That, and the "What did you just say?" look on her face lol)

I reckon Ellen as max is a bit weird. She doesn't seem tough enough to be sleeping in train tunnels and in trees, let alone to slice into her own arm with a shell...

i love your ideas for the cast ^.^. and i completely agree that fang and iggy should be played by Avan Jogia and Alex Pettyfer(partly because they are extremily hot,XD) they look the part. lol, and the picture you have of max, looks like something she would do!!!

It's fine. If you see at the end of my artist's comments, there's a link to an updated version of my casting. Spencer Locke is now my choice for Max since she's 17, 5'7" (close enough for the height), and, even though she's brown-haired in the pic, can do well with blonde hair. (For the record, I have read the manhwa. At that rate, I'm all, "Okay. At this rate, I really don't care whether or not Max is a blonde of brunette. She looks good with either." ... Which is partially why I chose Locke in the first place. Heh.)
I'll stand by my pick for Iggy, at least, until I truly found someone better.
I do have to agree with Nudge since I made these choices about a year ago now. I'm now thinking of choosing either that girl who played Sidney in That's So Raven or Parker McKenna Posey (Kady from My Wife and Kids) who are both 12/13 years old.

She was Bitsy in Ned's Declassified School Survival Guide and, more recently, K-Mart in Resident Evil: Extinction. You can type in "K-mart Resident Evil" on YouTube and find a couple vids of her in the movie.

As far as I remember, she was the annoying blonde popular girl who only appeared in a few episodes throughout the entire show. The episode I clearly remember her from was when Ned finds out that Bitsy started a club that "copies" his survival guide (name escapes me but it's her variation of the show's title) but she only gives tips about how to be more popular in which the members ended up becoming her lackeys throughout the episode.

Fang Gazzy and Angel right. I'm not too comfortable with the fact of Alex as Iggy. I mean, he IS hot, but he looks like a 'surfer'. Iggy is supposed to be tall, skinny and pale.
Seriously--Fang is PERFECT.
My second issue--
NO ELLEN PAGE.
Enough said.
She's WAYY too shy and cute to be Max. Max is sardonic, sarcastic, and most of all, PARANOID. I just don't think Ellen would be able to DO that.
Now that we're past the PERSONALITY--She's too short. She's just too short. Max is a 5'8, 14 yr old blond that looks 16. Not a 5'1, 20+ yr old brunette that looks 14 or so. Sorry, but read the manga. You'll find that she makes a MUCH better blond than brownie.
My third issue--
Nudge looks too young. She's cute, but I think Nudge should look about, um, say 13 years old. Just cuz, you know, she's a mutant freak ^^'
That's about it (as you can tell, I'm WAAAYY too obsessed with Maximum Ride. If they get ANYTHING wrong with the movie, Imma kill the director.)

The only thing a little off is Iggy, although he is the same age as Fang and Max he isn't always....on the sam level you could say, so he should probaby look younger,also it's implied he likes Nudge and if the actor you picked plays Iggy it will look like pedpophilia....Fang also should look more emo(extremely blunt i am...)i guess, in the book he comes off as someone i would see with spiky side bangs or something.Also Gazzy is eight not fiv, he looks a bit young. Everyone else looks really great,this isn't meant to be a flame just an opinion.
