The massive beast getting ready to let Icki have it here is what they call a "Prodigy". He is called so for he is considered to be superior to all other human beings. His parents are are hand choosen, and PAID to spawn him. He will be choosen from a line of others like him, many of which will not even make it that far. Once he is picked, he will be taken away imediately and taught to do whatever he is told, even willing commit suicide at the snap of his commander's fingers. He will be put in countless training programs and pumped full of steriods until he is nothing more than a human tank. Once this process is complete, he is put out into the streets to do what he is doing in this very picture and never question why.
By the way, Icki wil be fine. Do you really think I'd kill off my main character in the MIDDLE of the story?
